These beautiful gardens are for everyone to enjoy - please don't collect plants or flowers, climb on the trees, or walk on garden beds. There is strictly no fishing. However, we invite you to smell the flowers, hug the trees, talk to the ducks and picnic on the lawns.
Dogs are allowed in most areas of Pukekura Park but they must be on a lead at all times.
Dogs are not allowed:
Cycling, scooter riding, rollerblading, rollerskating, frisbees and ball games are only allowed in the playgrounds.
We endorse smokefree parks, playgrounds, sportsgrounds and walkways.
Our fish and eels and feathered friends might like to share your lunch or eat leftover bread. However, this can cause them health problems, and uneaten food can affect the water quality and attract pests. Please only feed our animal friends foods that they might find naturally. Wild bird seed is available in many shops and supermarkets and is much healthier than bread and other processed foods.
Visitor Information brochures and maps are available from the Tea House and the Fernery.
