My principal place of residence is in the Kaitake Community Board area.
Kia ora,
Thank you for the opportunity to run for the Kaitake Community Board.
I grew up in the farming district of Pihama in South Taranaki and attended Ōpunake high before moving to boarding school at NPGHS.
I have lived in Oakura with my husband Nathan Hohaia for the last ten years, we have 3 children - Mace (8) Thea (7) and Jax (4) who all attend Kaitake Kindergarten and Oakura Primary School.
I have owned an Ōākura based business R & Co Skin and Beauty for the last 5 years.
I am involved in the Kaitake kindergarten committee, I organise and coach Ōākura Junior Netball for 5-7year olds and help out with Kaitake Junior Rugby Club.
I am very blessed to live in such an epic seaside community and I want to play my role within our community by being involved on the board.

No. I believe the cost of living is already too high for the average home owner eg: Interest rates, food etc
No. I believe it should be kept under local governance.
Yes. I believe everyone needs to be doing more.
No. I think NPDC should stick to the core services such as water, sewage, rubbish, parks etc. Therefore keeping the cost down ie rates.
I believe in what ever creates the best environment for our community.
Candidate declined to answer.
NO it shouldn’t be capped. I believe this is a worthwhile project for a multiply sports complex to service the community. Not just one sport.
I don’t just have one agenda/priority. I would like to serve the community on all levels not just one specific one.
