Teresa Goodin

My principal place of residence is in the Kaitake Community Board area.

I grew up on the coast and returned 14 years ago to raise my son who started highschool this year. I have been living in Omata for 9 years.

I served on the Kaitake Community Board from 2010-2013. During my term I was involved in the development of the Okato playground and skatepark.

I'm a co-founder of LUMEN Studios + Gallery located at the old Cheese factory in Tataraimaka where I have been organising exhibitions, workshops and holiday programmes for 3 years.

I am a natural health practitioner and I have a passion for mental health and wellbeing.

I have a background in economic development, environmental issues, project management, event coordination, strategic planning, fundraising and promotion.

I am standing for the Kaitake Community Board because I want to contribute to a healthy, safe, resilient and prosperous future, a future where our children can thrive.
