My principal place of residence is in the Kaitake-Ngāmotu General Ward area. I am also standing for the Kaitake Community Board.
I'm the father of three school aged kids and a small business owner. These are the things that motivate me to want to make New Plymouth the most dynamic, productive, sustainable, active, and best place to live in the world. I believe if we do the mahi now we can lay the foundations for a great city and district that future generations will be proud to call home.

Yes. Council needs to continue to reduce emissions in order to help New Zealand meet its target of net-zero by 2050.
Yes. Small businesses employ 29% of our workforce and contribute over a quarter of our G.D.P. Council needs to continue to its great work through Venture Taranaki while making the region an attractive option for all types of innovative new business.
Yes. Council needs to be a representation of the whole community and having a Māori ward ensures representation for Māori communities and is one way for council to honor the principle of partnership committed to in Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Listen to and act on the recommendations of their respective community boards.
I think the multisport hub is a great investment for the health and wellbeing of the community and anything that gives people the chance to be active and involved in sports teams/clubs builds healthier more connected communities which benefits everyone.
Enabling active and connected communities. Connected communities are healthier, happier, more productive and resilient. Giving people the opportunity to be active whether that’s through one of the many sporting clubs, the coastal walkway or any of the local parks and beaches that surround our maunga helps build stronger communities that thrive together.
