Covid-19 information

Covid-19: Alert Level Orange

  • Due to Covid-related driver shortages, all glass collections are on hold until further notice.
  • Red-lid landfill, Yellow-lid recycling and food scrap collections will continue as usual.
  • Transfer stations will still take glass bottles and jars for free, or please store them until the collection restarts.
  • All transfer stations, recycling pods and the Junction shop are open as usual. Please check website for opening hours over public holidays.
  • Please pay with EFTPOS or credit card. We aren’t accepting cash (except at Tongaporutu).
